Indian Chicken Sandwich

The life of a chef is all about discovery and this recipe will take me to the cruise days.

In this recipe, I sandwiched a guess meat sandwich between two naan. This led me to develop this recipe, which I call “Indian Naan Sandwich.”

In Punjabi I call it – Naan .De Vich

  1. Baking Soda
  2. Flour
  3. Oil
  4. Milk
  5. Chicken
  6. Curd
  7. Powder Red Chilli
  8. Coriander powder
  9. Turmeric powder
  10. Garam masala
  11. The black pepper as well as Cumin powder.

Let’s get started, I’ve put flour and put it in the bowl.

In the beginning, I’m going add Baking Powder. After that, I’m going add a pinch of Baking Soda and, lastly, Salt.

Then I’m going introduce Oil. Then, I’m going to include Milk.

Then, I’m going begin mixing my dough. I’m going to keep mixing the dough until it is no longer sticking to my hands.

My dough is ready. I’m going to add one more thing to it. I’m going to add small amount of oil.

Now, I’m going gently massage it a bit. Next, I’ll make it into a ball. I’ve put my dough aside to rest,

Then, I’m going begin with the marination of chicken. For the first time I’m going put all of my chicken into the bowl.

The first step is to include Curd which is the basis for all Indian mariners.

Then is all the masalas. First I’m adding Red Chilli powder, Coriander powder, Turmeric powder

Garam masala, black pepper, and Cumin powder. The red Chilli paste .Not much, just one teaspoon.

In the next step, I’m going to include Chopped Mint as well as Chopped Coriander.

Also, I’ll add some Salt, Mustard Oil .At at least two tablespoons.

Last the squeeze of half one lemon. Now, I’m going blend the chicken with the marinade.

I’m planning to let my bird sit for at the least half an hour. By this time, we’ll cook our naan.

I’m adding a bit of dry flour to ensure that my dough won’t adhere to the work surface.

Now, I’m going roll it by hand. Next, I’ll cut the dough to the required dimensions.

After cutting, I’ll roll the dough. I’m going to dust them with flour, and then begin with rolling out the dough.

So, guys I’m heating the pan, and then I’ll begin placing the naan onto the pan.

Be sure to cook the naan at an extremely low heat, to ensure that it rises properly.

My naan should require at minimum two to three minutes to be cooked properly. I’m adding Butter to the

Naan keeps it soft and moist.

After I’ve added butter, I’m going then flip it.And repeat the procedure, but adding Butter on top of it.

My naan is ready.

I’ll begin grilling the chicken.

In the beginning, I’ll start adding Oil. After the oil has warmed up, I’m planning add the chicken to the pan.

I’m planning to turn the chicken over and allow it to cook for at 7 minutes at the most. The chicken is cooked and my bread is cooked. This is the time to begin the final assembly of the sandwich. The first step is to moisten the bread with a small amount of Mint Mayo. I’ll apply it to all four breads. After that, I’ll apply Lettuce to two of the breads. Then, I’m going to place the layer of Tomato on both breads. After that, I’m going add Onions. Finally, add Cucumber. Sprinkle some Chat masala over the the top. And now, I’m planning to sprinkle the chicken over the top.

This is the time to end the sandwich. I’ve put Cherry Tomato on the toothpick to enhance the look of the sandwich. It’s very vibrant and is sure to be delicious.

My Naan De Vich is ready or should I say “Indian Naan Sandwich.

Let me give you an interesting fact about the creation of sandwiches.

The year 1964 was John Montague, 4th Earl of Sandwich was a gambler of a high level .who was so engaged in his gamesHe asked the waiter to serve him meat on two breads. Those who were seated at the restaurant were impressed that they started ordering the same food, that was later dubbed The Sandwich.
